Membership
Membership contributions go towards the maintenance of our website. The group is free to join but we ask for a £3 donation per calendar year. Please bring cash to your first event, PayPal your dues to events.outnabout@gmail.com or message us for bank details. If there are any funds left at the end of the year, these will be either donated to the Mountain Rescue or used for the benefit of the group.
Our privacy policy
The data that you submitted to this website will never be handed over to any third party and will only be used to run this group and inform you about the upcoming events. The organisers will NEVER share anyone's personal details with other attendees without seeking permission.

Some tech info/small print: Our website is compliant with all the relevant regulations (SO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 and PCI DSS Level 1). The website uses HTTP/s over TLS 1.2 and above, as well as a SSL Certificate. Data is encrypted with AES 256, the industry standard for encryption, and FIPS 140-2 certified Hardware Security Module which is the highest standard of encryption and storage methods

We are not a business. Our events are organised by volunteers. If you join us you do so at your own risk. If you have a medical condition or take regular medication, please let your event leader know and please fill in and carry an I.C.E. form in the top pocket of your rucksack. For our adventures and holidays abroad, please make sure to have the relevant insurance in place.
